I have a scene in my game where you have to escape in 22 seconds or else you get a game over, I chose "Control timer" and set it to 22 seconds, then I chose "stop timer" and then game over, but when I play it, when the timer starts I get and instant game over. PLEASE REPLY!

You just go into the database first page,and then,under the box with your party in it,there is an option called "Array Size".
Change this to one and..VOILA!There is only one person in your party...YOU!Hope this helps.If not PM me.
